Another Poem-A-Day Challenge comes to an end. It's been fun. This year I had the added enjoyment of participating with KeyRawr, and have to agree with her sentiments about it wrapping up - it's bittersweet.
Each and every prompt challenged, stretched and sometimes boggled the mind. The experience definitely amazes and inspires.
Here's my attempt for the last day of the 2012 PAD Challenge.
Day 30: Write a fade away poem.
Fractions of everyday
Dissipate along broken lines;
Against the mental process of
Waving a not-so-magic wand
Along the glare of an empty page
Yellowed over time.
